Nordstrom - Downtown Seattle

Nordstrom - Downtown Seattle

Her blouse is really beautiful - the bottom edge of the pleats is ingenious.

Baguette Box - Capitol Hill, Seattle

Baguette Box - Capitol Hill, Seattle

A perfect, prototypically Capitol Hill group outside Baguette Box (one of my favorite restaurants here). I like how comfortable they look and seem together.

I'm a tad behind in the posting, I know, but I have a legitimate reason: I'm running perilously low on photos. It's been hard to find stylish folks around town lately; it seems like Seattle fashion hasn't figured out what to do with the newfound nice weather. I just hope this isn't a sign of the summer to come...I'll also be away this weekend and may not have time to re-stock the photo bank, but I'll try my best next week.

Great look. I hope I bump into him again - I'm guessing he's constantly photo-worthy.

Downtown Seattle

Downtown Seattle

An adorable, presumably mother-and-daughter pair. I love that each of them is trendy in her own way - the mom's breezy look with a giant bag, big sunglasses, and wide-legged jeans, and the daughter's post-punk, cardigan'ed-hipster look.

Her coat is very cute - I like the little pucker detail at the waistline. The boots and hat finish it off nicely.

Tuuli - Pike Place Market, Seattle

Tuuli - Pike Place Market, Seattle

A perfect father-and-kid pair I found in Tuuli, the Finnish clothing shop in Pike Place Market. They look like they were ordered direct from Helsinki. I love his striped vest, and the kid's sweater layers are adorable.

They both seem so comfortable with their style, and it suits them perfectly - they look fashionable without being overly trendy. I also wish there were more people like them around Seattle - it's surprisingly hard to find subjects over the age of hipster, so I'm always glad when I do.
