Baguette Box - Capitol Hill, Seattle
A perfect, prototypically Capitol Hill group outside Baguette Box (one of my favorite restaurants here). I like how comfortable they look and seem together.
I'm a tad behind in the posting, I know, but I have a legitimate reason: I'm running perilously low on photos. It's been hard to find stylish folks around town lately; it seems like Seattle fashion hasn't figured out what to do with the newfound nice weather. I just hope this isn't a sign of the summer to come...I'll also be away this weekend and may not have time to re-stock the photo bank, but I'll try my best next week.

Hi chelsea & dottie - Unfortunately I haven't had time to stop by Smith, but I'll definitely have to after your glowing recommendations. Thanks for the tip!

Hi Jasmine!
I live in Tacoma! Just came across your blog this weekend, love your pictures. You should try coming down here sometime and see if you can get some stylish pics. It may be hard to do though. Seattle is like the mother-ship and Tacoma the last space outpost!! I love going to Seattle as it's so much more stylish and cosmopolitan and I love the shops and people-watching! Strange we are only 30 some miles away, but it's two different worlds, so it seems! :-)
Hi Kelly - Thanks for the comment; I've been to Tacoma all of once, but found it considerably nicer than I was expecting. I'll definitely consider making a photo-hunting day-trip another time. Glad to hear you enjoy the blog!
Great photo. The composition's interesting as is the combination of camera-aware and unaware people in the pic.
Also, I have to second (or third?) the Smith thing. I was there on Friday and it seemed like everyone in the place was very well turned out. Plus, there's nice shooting light there in the late evening, including a good skylight towards the back.
I'm moving to Seattle over New Years eve. So...if you can hold out til then, I'll promise some fun fashion!
Ari (gent on the right) is invariably daring in his clothing choices--he had a great yellow-sequined jacket for the Leslie & the Ly's show at Wildrose over Pride Weekend.
What a great picture! Found your blog via a KOMO link. I like what you're doing! :)
Hi Maggie - Thanks!
