BAM - Brooklyn, NYC

BAM - Brooklyn

David is the epitome of a modern-day dandy. His vintage coat was a gift and is fully lined in mink.

Uniqlo - Soho, NYC

Uniqlo - Soho, NYC

This girl's outfit stood out in the ocean of quilted black coats and furry trooper hats in New York this winter.

And yes, Uniqlo is not to be missed.

Moon River Chattel - Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Moon River Chattel - Williamsburg, Brooklyn

I absolutely love this guy's look - the sweater, the shirt, the glasses, all of it. You can't quite see it in the photo, but he even had small brooches along the bottom of his tie. Totally original.

Back from NYC

Apologies for the static; was sparring with an uncooperative cable modem. I'm back from New York with some good shots that I'll be posting next. And of course, we'll be back to our regularly scheduled Seattle coverage afterward.

Aside - even the street art & graffiti were fashionable in Williamsburg:

Over the door

Gotta love a mustache.

Gopi looking spiffy in a Trovata blazer, G-Star jeans, and a Filippa K. shirt.

I'm off for a long weekend in Brooklyn, and will try to get in some fashion pics while I'm there. See you back here on Tuesday.

Crossroads - Pacific Heights, San Francisco

Crossroads - Pacific Heights, San Francisco

The last of my San Francisco photos, and my favorite one from the trip. I had seen her walking along Fillmore but had been stricken by a sudden bout of shyness, and let the opportunity to photograph her pass me by. But then I saw her again in Crossroads, and when I asked if I could take her photo, she was so wonderful about it, and said of course I could. I love everything about her look, especially the jaunty beret and patterned stockings, and she said it was all vintage. I can only hope to be so stylish someday.
