Apologies for the static; was sparring with an uncooperative cable modem. I'm back from New York with some good shots that I'll be posting next. And of course, we'll be back to our regularly scheduled Seattle coverage afterward.

i saw a whole series of illustrations from the first artist a year ago...maybe it was north 4?
(A very late comment to this entry, I know, but I'm moving to Seattle next month and was just referred to your blog from a friend.) When I was in New York a couple of years ago I took a picture of that same face drawn on the sidewalk with what looked like dripping tar, except at that time, it didn't have those extra blue markings someone else must have made. Weird. (Additionally, it seems like you used a blue filter, which I also did with my photograph. Extra weirdness.)
Hi Aaron - That's a very funny coincidence. I hope you enjoy living here - I've been here for a little over 3 years and am still far from sick of the place.
