Hi cc + joannie - I wish someone would make a bike helmet based on the Balenciaga riding hat...btw, if it makes you feel any better, he was just sort of lazing around helmet-less on his bike on the sidewalk, so I felt the safety rules were laxer. Especially in Georgetown.
Lordy...have we gotten to the point where someone can't be photographed SITTING on a bike on the SIDEWALK and people have to start giving him a hard time about not wearing a helmet? What's up with the safety police?
the colors are sooo great. but i'm inspired to ask.. with fall coming on, and my senses tingling that scarves are going to be especially big again, i need to ask for a scarf-tying/wrapping tutorial! i know that may sound ridiculous, but being a fan of fashion, and accessorizing (!!) and, well, neck warmth, i've admired -but not been able to exactly duplicate- some of the techniques i've seen.
his outfit is really cool, but i need to tell the world : you shouldn't ride a bike with a scarf hanging like that. i tried once, and didn't like when it got entangled in the chain. really didn't like. (neither did the scarf.)
He is just perfect! Face, facial hair, head hair, legs, outfit, scarf! Felafel guy, hmmm? Guess I need to crave a felafel on a Fri or Sat nite! Does he prefer boys or girls? No matter, he'll prefer me. Happy Seattle's getting some colder temperatures in winter these days of global warming...might be able to wear my Tibetan pashmina scarf--hot in NYC!
