Love the dress and pearls but I'm not so crazy about the shoes.

Also, I wish she wasn't holding her coat. I love the color of her bag and wish we could see it.

Very pretty outfit; love the color and how she made pearls unstuffy. However, I know that 'volume' is the style, but I think the skirt on this is a bit ill-fitting.

I think the flat shoes work, otherwise the outfit would be too stuffy with the pearls and all.

ooh, i didn't notice the purse on the first go- kicks it up a notch, doesn't it. i'm all for the volume. she's just a person here, natural and comfortable, not desperately promoting every curve of her body, as we're so accustomed to seeing. looks like a lovely day at the cafe.

ps does anyone else see claire danes here?

Hi anon. - She was a head-turner, just b/c it's so rare to see a young woman look so elegant & poised. I also like the flats - I photographed her on a weekday afternoon, probably on her way back from work, so I appreciate that she wasn't trying to be edgily fashionable.

I love it. I love the color of the dress and the pearls and the simplicity of her outfit. I see Claire Danes here too. I agree with anon #2 that is't nice to see someone wearing something not so tight. It's also refreshing to see an outfit that doesn't involve skinny jeans or ballet flats on Capitol Hill!

I think the flat shoes make this very lady-like outfit look comfortable and not too dressed up. She's darling.
