this is the cutest thing i've ever seen in my LIFE. haha i've definitely seen a couple of kids who look, well, amazing, and wanted to take pictures but worried a little bit about how it would come off, asking their parents about it. obviously they were into the idea - but did you worry at all while you were asking??!

Hi ph - Yeah, it definitely feels a little more risky asking parents for a child's photo. I rarely do it, but I've never had a problem so far.
There was something striking about this little girl, b/c it didn't look like her mother had dressed her this way. Her mother was much more casually dressed, & somehow I just got the impression that the girl had insisted on wearing this. She really seemed like a little fashion prodigy.

a final note, I assure you that Esme(the child pictured) did choose that outfit herself. I am amused that it is so fashionable, I would call it a mish mash, but I am male. I am glad so many people like her, she is a delight to me as well. Thank you for taking her picture.
