I like the contrast of her layers on top with the simple shorts. The shortness of her coat helps it all work.
I've been interested lately in outfits that transition well from summer to fall. I can't wait for all the fall fashion, as it's always seemed like the ideal season for Seattle style-wise.

Hi anon. - I'm definitely a big fan of scarves, layers, textures, etc. Half the fun of cold weather is all the accessorizing possibilities. :)

Agreed! I always look forward to fall. More layers=more things to play around with.
