Pike/Pine TV debut
Local readers might be interested to check out the TV talk show 'Northwest Afternoon' on KOMO (ABC/Channel 4) this coming Wednesday, 7/25, at 3pm. They invited me on for an interview last Friday, and we chatted about the blog and some of the photos I've taken. It was my first time on TV, and was a surprisingly easy, pleasant experience - it only took a half-hour to tape, and the folks there were really nice (despite several of them joking about how nervous they were getting dressed that morning). Many thanks to them for having me on.

Great for you. Look forward to the show. There's a chance it'll be posted online. Here's a link I found on their site.

I'm not even sure how I stumbled on your blog, but I love it. I hope you keep it up!
I saw your blog on the komotv website and I love it! What a great treat to see everyday people looking great in Seattle.

Hi J - Thanks! That was actually a separate news story (coincidentally also on KOMO) that came together at the last minute...I plan to post a link to it once I have a clip of the 'Northwest Afternoon' interview to share as well.
Just saw the NWA item--it was great! Congratulations! You handled all the hosts' questions quite well. =) And I loved your outfit!
Hi bobo - You're the first person I've heard from who's seen it! Glad to hear it turned out ok. :)
You should try going to Georgetown (South of downtown Seattle) for some photos!
Hi anon. - Thanks for the tip; I've been meaning to swing by there during the weekend for the longest time now! I've pretty much exhausted Pike/Pine, Ballard, Fremont, & downtown, so Georgetown's definitely next on the list.
Hi,
Saw you on the show, really enjoy your blog since I discovered it.
great concept
How about coming up to Bellingham one weekend....?? You have quite a few readers up here, too!!
Stop by downtown B-Ham and Fairhaven, I don't think you would regret the drive! And, stop by Four Starrs, Frank James, Trend West, Mi Shoes, and Right Left Right!
