Ian - Downtown Seattle

Ian - Downtown Seattle

I like how subtly vintage her outfit looks - I think it's the squarish shape of her blouse with the high-waisted skirt that does it. And her purse and simple sandals finish it off perfectly.

The high waisted skirt and the length of the hem are perfect. Great proportions on her as it lengthens her petite frame.

That woman is gorgeous. She could pull off a paper bag. That she chose a good outfit only makes it more perfect.

I'm surprised that this outfit was chosen because those sandals look eerily like flip-flops. I think it's a beautiful skirt & top combo, but I'd like to hear what others think of those sandals. (I think they're cute but maybe not necessarily with that outfit?)

And really, I don't mean this as a negative comment - I'm a fashion dunce and would like to learn more.

Hi kim - I think of them more as slinky sandals, which are pretty different from flip-flops. They have more shape, structure, & have a better sole than your average flip-flop.

Re: the sandals. They are very cute shoes, but I think a simple black kitten heel or even a skimmer would have worked better. love, love, love the blouse, skirt and bag.

The skirt, blouse and bag are a great combination but I agree with Kim that the shoe is quite a no no. Choosing a heels would definitely aid her in having visionally longer legs.
