I was in Portland this past weekend and found this guy at the Stumptown in the Ace Hotel. He looked casually perfect for a quiet, rainy Saturday morning.
Hi anon. - He isn't dressed to impress anyone, but it just looks right. I also liked that he was wearing leather shoes despite the rain. (Rubber & hiking boots were the norm.)
i love the combo of funk and sporty-prep. but do you think you would have noticed his style if it weren't for the hair and head wrap? those, of course, are stylistic choices after all, but his outfit doesn't seem particuarly sartorically advanced. then again, i can tell he makes most of his outfits look effortless. you're right though, the shoes connotate an air of good taste.

He's perfectly Portland, which is why I love Portland and its casual funky style.
What do you mean by "casually perfect?"

Also awesome: the woodwork behind him. Seriously. It's gorgeous!
This looks like it was ripped out of a magazine. Great shot!
I really love his white/light colored pants. He really pulls them off. I like the whole look.
