agreed, the ankle-bearing leggings must go. i am a legging lover myself, but find that they're way overplayed in the attempt of a casual/young/chic look. while they used to mean carefree, they now feel contrived. still an important piece of a trendy girl's wardrobe, but- user discretion is advised. besides, it's summer... let's see some legs!

I must defend the leggings! They are the most practical thing ever in a climate like Seattle where it may be summer but not warm enough for bare legs but you can still wear sandals. It makes wearing a dress practical; they are a wardrobe staple!

Yes, Seattlites need tights. Switch leggings for the footless tight, though, something textured for a cool day in Seattle. I'd rather be reminded of ballerinas than Lindsey Lohan or 8th grade. It's all in the length. Give me some calf!

It looks like a cute dress but I can't tell because of how much it is covered up. It seems a rather heavy look on top paired with the light look on the bottom.
